Nick is partnered with Roy Pulsipher, a veteran R.I.P.D. officer who is still trying to figure out the mysteries of the afterlife. Together, they embark on a mission to stop a powerful and dangerous fugitive soul from bringing about the end of the world.
As Nick and Roy investigate, they begin to uncover a conspiracy that involves some of the highest-ranking officials in the R.I.P.D. and leads them to question who they can trust.
